The Shahkot police have booked four villagers on charges of attempted murder.Investigating Officer (IO) Buta Ram said that the accused have been identified as Abhi alias Kirra, Gurpreet alias Kalu, Vishal alias Bhola, and all residents of Kanganna village, and Anmol a resident of EeseWal village. Akashdeep Singh, a resident of the same village, complained to the police that the accused attacked his brother Karandeep, intending to kill.
IO said that a case under section 109(attempt to murder), 115(2), 118(1) (voluntarily causing grievous hurt), and 3(5) (committing a crime with common intention), of the BNS of the has been registered against the accused.
