The Lohian Khas police have booked unidentified thieves on the charge of stealing materials from a Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL ) exchange.
Balwindar sub-divisional engineer Phones(groups) BSNL Shahkot complained to the police that thieves barged into the BSNL exchange Sechewal village on March 9 and stole many items and instruments.
The investigating officer Balwindar Singh said that a case under sections 457 (lurking house-trespass) and 380(theft in dwelling house) of the IPC has been registered against the unidentified accused.
