The Mehat Pur police have arrested two villager and booked seven others on the charge of attempt to murder.
Station House Officer (SHO) Pankaj Kumar said that the accused have been identified as Joravar Singh son of Jaswant Singh a resident of Jama Rakhannia Uttar village under Mamdott police station in Feroze Pur and Gurpreet Singh alias Gopi son of Brar Singh a resident of Bangi Wal village
Gurwindar Singh a resident of Bangi Wal village complained to the police that the accused barged into his house on January 4 and attacked him and his brothers intending to kill and injured them seriously, ransacked his house and misbehaved with women
SHO said that a case under section 109(attempt tomurder) 74(use of criminal force to woman with intention to outrage her modesty), 115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt), 333 (house trespass ) 324(mischief ) , 351(2) (criminal intimidation) 191(3)( rioting armed with deadly weapons) and 190(unlawful assembly of the BNS and has been registered against the accused and their seven accomplices and impounded a Scorpio .
