The Shahkot police have booked a village youth on the charge of kidnapping a minor.
The investigating officer (IO)Harnek Singh said that the accused has been identified as Karan Kumar son of Balbindar Singh a resident of Baga village.
Rachhpal Kaur wife of Raju a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused kidnapped her minor daughter by inducing her from Nangal Ambian village on March 1
IO said that a case under sections 363(kidnapping) 366-A(procuration-of minor) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
