The Mehat Pur police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling heroin.
The Station House Officer (SHO) Balraj Singh said that 15 grams of heroin were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Jasmail Singh alias Jassa son of Kehar Singh a resident of Abu Pura under Sidhama Bet police station, Ludhiana
SHO said that a case under section 21 (b) /61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and five cases of drug peddling are pending against him in various police stations of Ludhiana district.
