The Nakodar city police have arrested a woman for instigating her son for committing an unnatural offense with the victim and assaulting her.
The investigating officer (IO)Rannjit Singh said that the accused has been identified as Ramajit Kaur wife of Tarlochan Singh a resident of Allowal village and mother of Bikram Jit main accused in of case of sodomy and assault.
The victim had complained to the police that her marriage was solemnized with Bikaramjit who is a drug addict and forcibly performed the unnatural offense and beat her and his mother instigated her son and did not help her.
IO said that a case section 377(unnatural sex) 323(voluntary causing hurt) and 34(committing crime) of the Indian Penal Code was registered against the accused, her son, and others.
