The Lohian Khas police challaned a person on the charge of illegal sand mining.
The Station House Officer (SHO) Surjit Singh Padda said that the accused have been identified as Baljit Singh a resident of Kapurthala district who was indulging in illegal quarrying of sand in arrears and impounded his loaded tractor trolly and issued a challan.
