NAKODAR
The Nakodar city police have booked some unidentified miscreants on the charge of assaulting a 60-year-old local resident.
Vijay Kumar a resident of Mohalla Palam Vihar , Nakodar complained to the police that an unidentified accused waylaid him near a marriage palace on January 13 and assaulted injured, and threatened him.
The investigating officer Mandeep Singh said a case under sections 323,324(voluntarily causing hurt with dangerous weapons or means) 341(wrongful restraint) 506(criminal intimidation) 148 and 149 (rioting) and 34( committing the crime with common intention) of the IPC has been registered against unidentified accused.
