The Lohian Khas police have booked a man on the charge of assaulting a co-villager.
The investigating officer (IO) Jaspal Singh said that the accused has been identified as Neetu a resident of Kang Kalan village.
Kulwant Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused attacked him with a sharp-edged weapon and seriously injured him on November 14.
IO said that a case under sections 323,325(voluntarily causing grievous hurt) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
