A twenty-five-year-old youth was killed in an accident on Friday.
The investigating officer (IO)Harjinder Singh said that the deceased has been identified as Sukhdev Raj alias Nikka son of Tarsem Lal a resident of Partab Pura village.
Kuldeep Singh brother of the deceased told the police that Nikka was killed in an accident.
IO said that the police acting under section 174 of the Cr.P.C handed over the body to the family after post-mortem.
