The Bilga police have arrested two Bilga village residents on charges of stealing batteries from a parked bus.
The investigating officer (IO) Avtar Masih said that the accused have been identified as Jasvir Singh alias Jassi son of Ajit Singh Billa and Arashdeep Singh alias Arashi son of Hajindar Singh residents of Bilga village.
Charanjit Singh a resident of Talwann village complained to the police that the accused stole two batteries from a bus of his company parked at Bilga village on January 5.
IO said a case under sections 457(lurking house-trespass) 380(theft in dwelling house ) and 411(dishonestly receiving stolen property ) of the IPC has been registered against the accused and recovered from them stolen batteries.
