NAKODAR
The Nakodar city police have arrested a notorious criminal on the charges of snatching, extortion, and attempt to murder.
Nakodar Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Harjindaer Singh said that the accused has been identified as Satnam alias Satta son of Buta Singh a resident of Kang Sahib Rai village.
DSP said that a case under sections 379-B (snatching)383,384(extortion) 307(attempt to murder) 323,324,326 (causing grievous hurt ) 148 and 149 (rioting ) of the Indian Penal Code was registered against the accused on July 28, 2021, and 35 criminal cases are pending against him in various police station of Jalandhar (rural) police district
