Villager booked for criminal trespass, theft

 

NAKODAR

The Nakodar Sadar police have booked a villager on charges of criminal trespass and theft.

The investigating officer (IO) Sukhwindar Pal Singh said that the accused has been identified as Surjit Singh, son of Chanann Singh, a Mir Pur Marri village.

Didar Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused tried to forcibly encroach on his land and stolen materials by breaking the lock of the motor room.

 

 

IO said that a case under sections 447(criminal trespass) 454(house-breaking in order to commit an offense punishable with imprisonment.),380(theft in dwelling house)511(Attempting to commit offenses punishable with impriintention)  ife), and 34 (committing a crime with common intention)   of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
