Muktsar police have claimed to have arrested one person from near village Kattianwali and recovered 680 grams of opium and Rs 104000 drug money from his possession.
The accused has been identified as Arshdeep Singh son of Jarnail Singh, a resident of village Kaulgarh in SBS Nagar.
A case against him has been registered at police station Kabarwala under section 18C and 61/85 of NDPS act.
The police said that the accused was arrested from near Kattianwali where he was on foot with a black coloured kit and when he was searched by the police, the drug and drug money was recovered from him.
