NAKODAR
The Nakodar city police have arrested Rahul Sharma, a resident of New Aman Nagar Ludhiana in a dowry harassment case.
Complainant Bharti Sharma, a resident of garden colony Nakodar, had filed a complaint to the police that her husband had been harassing her for dowry since her marriage in September 2017.
The investigating officer Kulwindar Singh said t a case under sections 406(breach of trust) and 498-A (husband or relatives of a woman subjecting her to cruelty) of the IPC was registered against the accused.
