The Shahkot police have arrested a Shahkot motorcyclist on the charge of creating a public nuisance.
The investigating officer (IO) Lakhbir Singh said that the accused has been identified as Amrindar Singh son of Gurpal Singh a resident of Model Town Shahkot.
IO said that the accused was driving his bullet motorcycle (PB-08-CQ-4585) very fast and negligently on November 24 late evening and was coming from the bus stand side emitting irritating sounds by snapping his motorcycle cylinder and creating a public nuisance.
IO said a case under section 268 (punishment for public nuisance) of the IPC and section207 (power to detain vehicles used without FC, RC, DL, permit.) of the Motor Vehicle Act has been registered against the accused and impounded his two-wheeler and released him on bail.
