The Shahkot police have arrested a villager on the charge of stealing motorcycles.
The Investigating Officer (IO) Lakhbir Singh said that the accused has been identified as Pritam Singh son of Rannjit Singh a resident of Burre Wal village.
IO said that a stolen motorcycle (PB-67-D-8825) was recovered from the possession of the accused at a Naka. A case under sections 379(theft) and 411 (dishonestly receiving stolen property) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
