(SUBHEAD) Nawanshahr- As a part of the ongoing Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) program, as many as 2500 students of 105 government senior secondary and high schools of the district formed human chains to make the people aware of their voting rights on Monday.
Disclosing further details in this regard, District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal said that human chains were formed to sensitize about the importance of voting as it was important to keep the voters especially youth abreast about power of vote.
