NAKODAR
The rehearsal of the staff on duty for the Lok Sabha General elections was conducted on Sunday at Guru Nanak National College, Nakodar. The rehearsal was done under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar and Gursimran Singh Dhillon, SDM-cum- RO A total of 304 polling parties were given training both in the morning and evening sessions by the sector officers and master- trainers. The message of DC, Jalandhar was relayed on LCD screens, and the polling staff was informed about the polling material in detail. EVM hands-on training was also imparted. Gursimran Singh said that two more rehearsals of the polling parties would be held on May 26 and May 31, 2024, respectively at Guru Nanak National College, Nakodar. A total of 252 parties would be sent to polling booths with all the relevant polling material necessary for the conduct of elections on June 1st,2024 from Guru Nanak Nation College, Nakodar. He said that the polling material after the elections would be collected at Guru Nanak National College, Nakodar from the polling parties after the close of elections on June 1st, 2024.
