The Nakodar City police have arrested two drug peddlers on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.
Investigating officer (IO)Hans Raj said that 200 intoxicant tablets were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Palwinder Singh alias Bhola son of Paramjit a resident of Mahun Wal village and Gurpreet Singh alias Gopi son of Hans Raj a resident of Rasul Pur village under Nakodar Sadar police station.
IO said that a case under sections 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and impounded a motorcycle on which they were traveling with the contraband.
