The Criminal Investigating Agency of the Jalandhar police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling heroin.
Investigating officer (IO) Pipal Singh Singh said that 150 grams of heroin were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Manjit Singh alias Champi son of Charan Singh a resident of Chabe Wal village in Hoshiar Pur district IO said a case under sections 21-B/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and impounder his scooter on which he was traveling with the contraband and 12 cases under NDPS Act are pending against him in different police stations.
