Faridkot police arrest four accused involved in snatching cash from money exchanger

In less than a week, the Faridkot police on Friday claimed to have arrested 4 persons accused in a cash snatching case and recovered about 1.11 cash from their possession.
Harjeet Singh, senior superintendent of police Faridkot, on Friday shared the details of the success of the police.
"Faridkot police have arrested four persons who were found involved in the cash snatching from a Faridkot based money exchanger and have recovered more than Rs 1 lakh from their possession. Besides it, the police have also identified two others also involved in the case during the interrogation of the arrested," said Harjeet Singh SSP Faridkot addressing the media during a press conference today. 
"A case against unidentified persons was registered at city police station Faridkot on the complaint of one Sumit Kumar, a money exchanger from Faridkot. I had formed police teams under the supervision of DSP Jaitu and Faridkot after the registration of the case. During the scanning of the CCTV footage and analysing other technical details, the police had zeroed in on the four.We have arrested Jaspreet Jassi,Jaskaran Singh,Simranjeet Singh and Manish Kumar today and also recovered about Rs 1.11 lakh cash,sharp edged weapons and vehicles used in the crime from their possession. They are all residents of Guru Harshai and Faridkot villages," said Harjeet Singh,SSP Faridkot.
"The police have also tracked down two others of the accomplices of the accused,Lovepreet Lovi and Jarrnail Ssiingh ,both residents of village Sandwan of Faridkot. The raids  are on to nab them as well," the SSP said.
"We have yet to recover aTata Ace and two motorcycles from their possession. All the accused involved in the crime are about 20 years of age and they committed the crime due to poor parents care, lack of education and other lurements that they perceived they can soon become richer by this way. We are further investigating the case," said the SSP.
The accused allegedly distributed cash among themselves after the crime.
"The social causes are behind their criminal nature and one of them has some cases registered against him. Apart from it, they have also admitted to have committed three other crimes of cash and mobile snatchings," the SSP said.
"We have recovered the snatched phones in those cases as well," the SSP said.
It is pertinent to mention that one Sumit Kumar of Faridkot had alleged that about 5 to 6 unidentified persons had snatched Rs 3.50 lakh from him and another Rs 1K from his father on the night of October 27.
