Partap Singh Bajwa, Leader of Opposition of the house has come down heavily on the AAP government in Punjab for its alleged tender to hire a jet.
According to him, the Punjab government intended to hire a Falcon 2000 plane which would bleed the state exchequer because the per hour rent for the plane is expected to be Rs 6 lakh.
He alleged that the plane is being hired to facilitate AAP Supremo Arvind Kejriwal in the upcoming polls in some states.
He claimed that the debt of the state has already crossed Rs 3 lakh crore mark in fiscal year 2022-23 and it is expected to become a whooping sum of Rs 347,542.39 crore in financial year 2023-24.
He said that this decision would further bleed the state.
Bajwa shared this on social media platform X.
But social media users also questioned Bajwa letting the state exchequer bleed in the same way in the last term of the congress government.
