Deputy commissioner Faridkot on Thursday allowed the expansion of 2 days to the Baba Farid craft Mela, being organized by Baba Farid cultural society Faridkot.
The craft mela is being held on the premises of the grain market on Ferozpur road in Faridkot.
‘Due to the inclement weather, the organizers had to bear a loss. On rainy days last week, the people could not visit the crafts mela. So for the convenience of the organizers to recover their loss and viewing the public interest, the craft mela has been allowed to continue till October 31, with an extension of the 2 days,” said Vineet Kumar,DC Faridkot in a press release to the media.
The DC further appealed to the people to visit the mela and enjoy it.
