An alleged love affair led to the murder of a boy from village Aukalh and the police have booked four persons from the girl's family.
The 26 years old Gurgopal Singh, who was the only son of the parents, allegedly had been having an affair with Arshdeep Kaur for two years, a girl from the same village.
"They eloped on January 1,2022 and left the village. They began to stay with the victim's father at 20 NDR Rajasthan. But later on, the families reached a compromise and the girl returned to her parents home," reads the police complaint given by the father of the deceased.
The victim Gurgopal Singh allegedly went to the house on the intervening night of July 12/13 where the accused thrashed him to death, the police complaint reads.
The police have registered a case against Gurjeet Singh,Kuldeep Singh sons of Chottu Singh, Dilpreet Singh son of Gurjeet Singh and Kulwant Kaur daughter of Chottu Singh on the complaint of Harbans Singh son of Bant Singh, the father of the victim under section 302(murder) and 34(common intention) IPC at Sadar police station Kotkapura.
