The Jalandhar(rural) police senior superintendent of police (SSP) Swapan Sharma on Thursday chaired a crime meeting in which all SHO’s, gazetted officers, police post in-charge, and munshi participated.
In a press note issued by the police it said that the SSP directed all SHO’s proclaimed offenders in NDPS Act cases should be arrested and strict action should be taken against all anti-social elements.
He also directed to complete proceedings in all pending cases under NDPS Act including vehicles.
Press note said that that all three high tech Nakas in Jalandhar rural district at Phillaur,Kureshia and Shahkot will have CCTVs,Internet,Laptops,Wireless sets and vehicles and will be manned by police personnel twenty four hours.
