The Shahkot police have an unidentified person on the charge of kidnapping a man and confining him.
Gurpreet Singh a resident of Mallan Wala village in Feroze Pur complained to the police that the unidentified accused kidnapped his brother-in-law Satnam Singh a resident of Jaffar Wal village on May 21 and confined him somewhere.
The investigating officer Gurnam Singh said that a case under section 346(wrongful confinement in secret) of the IPC has been registered against the unidentified accused.
