The Lohian Khas police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets. The Investigating officer (IO) Rannjit Singh said that 1010 intoxicant tablets (loose) and Rs 4500 drug money and one mobile handset were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Salim Masih son of Balkar Masih a resident of Mandala village.
IO said that a case under sections 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and impounded his motorcycle (PB-09-B-8871) on which the accused was traveling with the contraband.
