NAKODAR
The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling heroin and intoxicanttablets.
Investigating officers (IO)and Shankar police post in charge Paramjit Singh said that 6 grams of heroin and 25 intoxicant tablets were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Gurpreet Singh alias Gori son of Tarsem Lal a resident of Dhaliwal village.
IO said that a case under sections 21/22/61/85 of the NDPS Act have been registered against the accused.
The police also arrested woman drug peddler Pardeep alias Bhuchi wife of Raj Pal of Mudh village with 15 intoxicant tablets said IO Kulwindar Singh.
