The Lohian khas police have booked an unidentified vehicle driver on the charge of killing a police officerin an accident.
Station House Officer (SHO) Kishan Gopal said the deceased police officer assistant sub inspector Puran Singh was serving at Shahkot police station
Baldev Singh a resident of Gatta Mundi Kasu Basti Bhane Wal village under Lohian Khas police station complained to the police that his father was returning home after performing his duty on May 18 late evening when an unidentified vehicle driver who was driving fast and negligently hit his father’s motorcycle resulting in his death.
SHO said a case under sections 106-A (causing death by negligence), 281 (rash driving on public roads) and
unidentified accused.The Shahkot police also booked an unidentified vehicle driver for killing in accident Gurwindar Singh son of Jagdeep Singh a resident of Mohalla Dhorra Shahkot said IO Angrej Singh .
