The Shahkot police have arrested three miscreants under the NDPS and Arms Acts.
Station House Officer (SHO) Yadwinder Singh said that the accused have been identified as Sukhpreet Singh alias Sukha’ son of Sarwann Singh, Akashdeep alias Musa son of Jarnail Singh residents of Nihalu Wal village, and Hardeep Singh son of Nishan Singh a resident of Rajataal in Amarit Sar district.
SHO said that 302 grams of heroin,3 country-made pistols, 32 bore,3 magazines, 6 live cartridges, and two motorcycles were recovered from the possession of the accused.
SHO said a case under sections 21/61/85 of the NDPS Act and section 25/54/59 of the Arms Act was registered against the accused.
