The Shahkot police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling heroin.
Investigating Officer (IO)Buta Ram said that 15.85 grams of heroin were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Amrik Singh, son of Sucha Singh a resident of Ram Pur village.
IO stated that a case under sections 21/ 61/ 85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
The Nakodar City police arrested a drug peddler, Sandeep Sing,h son of Gurdev Singh of Mohalla KamalPura with 55 intoxicant tablets, said IO Sukhwindar Singh.
