The Nakodar City police have booked an unidentified driver on charges of causing death by negligence, rash driving, and endangering life.
Aman Kumar a resident of Lalia Khurd village under Lambarra police station complained to the police thathis wife, Mannu Sharma, was going to her school on her scooter on December 12 and when she reached Ladharr Paper Mill and an unidentified vehicle driver who was ahead of her put brakes negligently and his wife’s scooter collied with it and was injured seriously and died in hospital
Investigating Officer Kulwindar Singh said that a case under sections 106(causing death by negligence),281(rash driving on public road), 125(A-B) (causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others), and 324(4) (mischief) of the BNS has been registered against the unidentified accused.
