More than 56 thousand people got treatment at Aam Aadmi clinics

17 Aam Aadmi Clinics, launched by the Punjab Government in District Kapurthala with an aim to provide quality health facilities to the people especially in rural areas, have proved as a boon as 56770 patients got treatment free of charge at these clinics till now. 

 

Disclosing this here today, the Deputy Commissioner Kapurthala Vishesh Sarangal said that 2 of these clinics were launched in August 2022 whereas 15 more were launched in January 2023. He said that these clinics have been providing not only OPD facilities but also free tests. 

 

He said that these clinics had also provided free lab test facility to 7034 people besides providing free treatment to 56 thousand people.  

 

It is worth mentioning here that these Clinics have been providing OPD services, immunization facilities, prenatal services, family planning facilities, free lab tests, free medicines to the general public under one roof besides maintaining clinical data of patients which help them in getting treatment from any Aam Aadmi clinic across the state.

 

In the Kapurthala district, 17 Aam Aadmi Clinics including Dhilwan, Maksudpur, Surakhpur, Bhanolanga, Khalu, Bhandal Bet, Dadwindi, Paramjitpur, Kabirpur, Sujo Kalia, Atholi, Palahi, Ranipur, Sapror, CD. Guru Nanakpura (Phagwara), Raika Mohalla (Kapurthala) and Hadiabad (Phagwara) delivering quality health services to the people.
