The Nakodar Sadar police have booked a migrant tipper driver on the charge of causing death by negligence.
Investigating officer (IO)Kulwindar Singh said that the accused has been identified as Golu Kumar aresident of Muzaffar Pur district, Bihar
Tarlok Chand a resident of Ganga Nagar in Rajasthan complained to the police that the accused was drivinghis tipper tanker fast and negligently on May 22 evening and hit his son Raj Kumar at Tut Kalan village resulting in his death.
IO said a case under sections 106-A (causing death by negligence), 281 (rash driving on public roads) and125-A,125-B (act endangering life or personal safety of others) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
