In a unique celebrations of Valentine day , Municipal Corporation celebrated the Valentine Day with the waste collectors who maintain the city clean.
On this occassion, Commissioner Municipal Corporation honoured 3 best Swachhta Mitra who has done good work in source segregation of garbage.
Municipal Corporation Commissioner Anupam Kaler and Corporation Secretary Shushant Bhatia also gave Red Roses to Swachhta Mitra and encouraged to do their best work in maintaining the city clean and explain the importance of clean surrounding and physical cleanliness. Apart from this, a health checkup was also conducted for our Swachhta Mitra. A cleanliness rally was also organized to sensitize people about cleanliness and not to use plastic .This cleanliness rally was flagged off by Secretary Municipal Corporation Shushant Bhatia. The rally started from Municipal Corporation office Shalimar Bagh to Jalokhana Chowk, Sadar Bazar to Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk and after passing through Sat Narayan Bazaar from Amritsar Road and culminated at Municipal Corporation office. On this occasion, social worker Gurbachan Singh, Advocate Chandan puri and Health Branch Sanitary Inspector Sanjeev Kumar , Naresh kumar besides Sanitary staff were also present.
