LOHIAN KHAS/NAKODAR /NURMAHAL
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) emerged victorious in Lohian Khas Nagar Panchayat and Congress in Mehat Pur Nagar Panchayat elections whereas no party in Nakodar, Nurmahal, emerged victorious in the municipal council elections results of which were declared today.
In Lohian Khas Nagar Panchayat elections, AAP won 9 out of the 13 wards. Independent candidates won in two wards and the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) in two wards.
In Mehat Pur, Congress won in 7 of the 13 wards. Two AAP candidates and two SAD candidates and two independent candidates registered wins here.
AAP won in 7 out of the 17 wards in Nakodar. Congress 4 and Independents managed to register win in 5 wards and the BJP in one ward. SAD failed to open its account.
In Mehat Pur, Congress won in 7 of the 13 wards. Two AAP candidates and two SAD and two independent candidates registered wins here.
Of the 15 seats in Nurmahal, Congress supported independent candidates took 8, AAP 4 and BJP one and BSP two candidates registered wins here. SAD failed to open its account.
