The Shahkot police have arrested a proclaimed offender (PO) absconding for the last many months. The Investigating officer (IO) Salinder Singh said that the accused has been identified as Veeru son of Shita a resident of Vajid Pur village in Feroze Pur and wanted in a case of drug peddling.
IO said the police also arrested PO Kulwant Singh son of Gurdev Singh a resident of Punia village wanted in a case of obstructing the public way.
