AAP national convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and state CM Bhagwant Mann today reached Seeche Wal village and paid their obeisance at Dera Nirmal Kutia
Dera head and AAP MP Sant Balbir Singh welcomed both chief ministers and apprised them of areas problems and handed over to them a memorandum of demands and asked them to make environmental protection an important issue.
He demanded that clean water should be released in Chitti Vien, and a road from Giddar Pindi to Phillaur on Dhussi Bandh of Sutlej River should be constructed.
Sant said that the Sutlej River beneath Giddar Pindi should be desilted to save areas from floods as 12 feet of silt has accumulated there and farmers cultivating 2-5 acres of land should be given ownership rights.
He honoured both the chief ministers with Siropas.
Punjab education minister H.S. Bains, Sant Pargat Nath, Sant Gurmej Singh, and AAP Punjab in-charge Jarnail Singh were present on the occasion.
