NAKODAR
The Nakodar city police have arrested a miscreant on the charge of snatching earrings from a woman.
The Investigating officer Bhajan Singh said that the accused has been identified as Harjinder Kumar alias Mandal son of Ashok Kumar a resident of Kandola Kalan village under Nurmahal police station.
Pawitar Singh a resident of Shahkar village had complained to the police that he was returning home on March 16 evening from Nakodar city when two motorcycle-borne miscreants attacked his wife Parmindar Kaur and snatched her earrings (10 grams weight).
IO said a case under section 379-B (2) (snatching) 34 (committing a crime with common intention) and 411(dishonestly receiving stolen property ) of the IPC was registered against the accused and his accomplices Ajay Kumar son of Purushottam Lal a resident of colonies, Nakodar Road, Nurmahal and Ramesh Kumar ails Bhandi son of Balkar a resident of Cheema Khurd village under Nurmahal police station
were arrested earlier.
