The Nakodar city police have arrested a miscreant on the charge of snatching earrings from a woman.
The Investigating officer Bhajan Singh said that the accused has been identified as Ramesh Kumar als Bhandi son of Balkar a resident of Cheema Khurd village under Nurmahal police station.
Pawitar Singh a resident of Shahkar village had complained to the police that he was returning home on March 16 evening from Nakodar city when two motorcycle-borne miscreants attacked his wife Parmindar Kaur and snatched her earrings (10 grams weight).
IO said a case under section 379-B (2) (snatching) and 34 (committing a crime with common intention) of the IPC was registered against the accused and his accomplice Ajay Kumar son of Purushottam Lal a resident of colonies, Nakodar Road, Nurmahal was arrested earlier.
