The Lohian Khas police have booked a villager on the charge of outraging a woman’s modesty.
The Investigating Officer (IO) Iqbal Singh said that the accused has been identified as Sukhwindar Singh son of Balwant Singh a resident of Kakarr Kalan village.

Rajwindar Kaur wife of Sarabjit Singh a resident of the same place complained to the police that the accused who is her brother-in-law barged into her house on April 23 evening in an inebriated condition and used filthy language against her assaulted her and tore her clothes.
IO said that a case under sections 354 (criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), and 323(voluntarily causing hurt) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the accused. No arrest has been made and raids are being conducted to nab the absconding accused.
