The Shahkot police have arrested Vijay Kumar alias Bindar a resident of Salaichan village on the charge of gambling.
The Investigating Officer Sulinder Singh said that the accused was selling betting slips and recovered from his possession Rs 3215, a copy pen and betting slips. A case under sections 13-A, 3, and 67 of the Punjab Gambling Act has been registered against the accused.
