The Lohian Khas police have booked three accused including a scrap dealer on the charges of theft, criminal conspiracy, and destroying evidence of the offense.
The Investigating officer (IO) Iqbal Singh said that the accused have been identified as Bhagat Singh son of Darshan Singha resident of Kussu Wala village under Makhu police station Feroze Pur , his brother Angrej Singh and scrap dealer Gurindar Singh son of Gurmail Singh a resident of Nihal Singh Wala town in Moga
Resham Singh a resident of Lalu Wala village under Makhu police station complained to the police that he has parked his Tata bus (PB-29-K-9666) at Giddar Pindi toll plaza on November 28 from where the accused stole it and sold it to a scrap dealer.
IO said that a case under sections 379(theft) 201(causing disappearance of evidence of offense) and 120-B(criminal conspiracy ) of the IPC has been registered against the accused after an inquiry.
