SHAHKOT
The Shahkot police arrested a Jalandhar resident on the charge of selling illicit liquor.
The investigating officer Harnek Singh said 20 bottles of hooch were seized from the possession of the accused identified as Vijay Kumar a resident near Jyoti Chowk Jalandhar. A case under section 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
