The Shahkot police have booked a father-son duo on the charge of assaulting a co-villager.
The investigating officer (IO) Balkar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Viki a resident of Said Pur Jhirri village and his son Sahil.
Vijay Kumar a resident of the same village complained to the police that Sahil attacked and injured him at the behest of his father.
IO said that a case under sections,324(voluntarily causing hurt with dangerous weapons or means) and 34(committing crime with common intention) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
