In broad daylight theft unidentified
miscreants stole cash golden and silver jewelry and household goods from a house in Mohalla Bharayian on Sunday afternoon.
Jaspal Sahota complained to the police that he and his family went to pay their obeisance in a church when the accused barged into his house and decamped away with cash, gold, silver jewelry, and other household goods.
The Station House Officer Ranjit Singh said the police are investing in the incident.
Increasing incidents of thefts and snatching have created a sense of insecurity among residents and put a question mark on police patrolling.
