The Jalandhar additional district and sessions judge Sarabjit Singh Dhaliwal has sentenced to life imprisonment Mani Kumar son of Sodhi Ram a resident of the Talwann village on the charge of raping and murdering a deaf and dumb minor. The convict has also slapped a fine of Rs. 1 Lakh.
The Bilga police had booked him under section 302(murder) and 376(rape) of the IPC under sections of the POSCO Act on March 10, 2020
