The Nakodar city police have arrested the fourth accused wanted in a case of attempt to murder and rioting.
The investigating officer (IO) Bhajan Singh said that the accused have been identified as Sukhvir alias Vicki son of Balbir Singh a resident of Khurshaid Pur village.
Gurmit Singh a resident of Hussain Pur village had complained to the police that the accused and his accomplices attacked him with sharp cadged weapons with the intention to kill and seriously injured him on February 8 in the premises of Nakodar civil hospital where he had gone to a medical examination.
IO said a case under sections 307(attempt to murder) and 323,324(voluntarily causing hurt with dangerous weapons) or means) and 148 and 149(rioting) of the Indian Penal Code was registered against the accused and his three accomplices were arrested earlier.
