Deputy commissioner Faridkot, Dr Ruhee Dugg on Friday chaired the meeting of the revenue officials, which was also attended by SDM Faridkot Baljeet Kaur and SDM Kotkapura Virpal Kaur besides others.
The DC reviewed all kinds of works which fall under the revenue department and instructed the concerned officials to dispose off the pending cases in a time bound and transparent manner.
She warned the officials that, as per the instructions of the Punjab government, the department is bound to provide the people hassle free solution/disposing off their problems and deciding the pending cases relating to the registrations of land, mutation or partition of land etc within a timeframe and transparent manner.
“If anybody found guilty in violation of law, he must be accountable for his indifferent attitude or lapse and be taken to task,” said Ruhee Dugg,DC Faridkot.
She also asked the revenue officials to ensure that the services or plans/schemes being provided by the government, must reach the common man and they should make the people aware about it.
